The curse shall be purified like the glory of this exotic flower!

I could apparently sense the presence of the angels watching over me even though I may not be able to see them with my own eyes.

Today marks the final episode of my internship. Had a farewell lunch with my colleagues at the nearby eatery. Unfortunately, my supervisor was out of the country so could not see my last day.
Anyway, it has been a good experience for the past 11 weeks which enables me to notice the differences between the academic life and the working life. The responsibilities, the social circle, the initiative are the main elements to enhance one's emotional quotience in all areas.
Thank God that I get to know a friendly and understadning Lady boss who has really touched my heart recently. Indeed, she really played a good role like a counsellor to me. After listening to her words, I somehow no longer fear loneliness and pessimism.
In life, we should not assume or be too judgemental about others as it may result in many misunderstanding. That's one major thing that most of my friends (including myself) always have on each other. You know who you are, let's heed the advice.
Also, I have learnt to break cultural barriers with the people I am working with. As I mentioned earlier that I worked in a completely NO Singaporeans enviroment. You could not imagine how different it would feel if you were in my shoes.
Alright, time for the farewell pictures...

Farwell to favourite dishes...

Farewell to my desk...

Farewell to my international friends and colleagues...

Farewell to my cute feline friend

Farewell to blue building

The episode ends here...

It has been nearly half a year, the curse of the month is beginning to hound me in Part 2. Click here and it shall direct you back to Part 1.
Why oh why such things must happen to me altogether? Let' see how many unlucky events have I got myself into for this month.
1) I had a rotten luck in a game of pool (as mentioned earlier in one of the posts).
2) I had a sore throat that caused me to cough the entire night during sleep.
3) Woke up late for work and caused me to waste $27.90 for my taxi fare.
4) Chased by a fierce dog that traumatized me to run which had caused me to break somebody's stuff.
5) My facial complexion was ruined by patches of acnes (I seriously need help for my face!).
6) My laptop was down with graphic problems.
7) My mobile phone was down with a short circuit.
8) My sony ericsson headphone went faulty.
9) I accidentally cut the tip of my index finger with a nail clipper while cutting my fingernails.
10) I bumped my head on the ceiling of a double-decker bus with a hard hit.
11) Had a miscommunication with my supervisor that caused a minor misunderstaing.
12) I kept committing funny mistakes again and again.
I don't understand why I have been getting mood swings lately. Sigh, I really could not understand my own feelings now. Thank God to have Cecilia to keep my smile beaming throughout the day. It has been great knowing you! I hope the guardian angels shall protect you from the demoness too.
Tomorrow marks the last day of the month and it's Halloween Day. I am going to have loads of fun! At least there is something happy to cheer me up. =)
I hope the curse shall be destroyed completely. I am in need of blessings.

Wait a minute! Am I supposed to be doing IT for internship? Hence, how is it related to nature?
Yeah, I was having my private 10-minute internship with plants.
As I was walking pass a building located adjacent to my office, my attention was caught by the sight of these colourful and exotic plants. Therefore, I decided to take a few shots of them.
Well, I don't exactly know the names of these plants, except for the unripe papaya.

I saw a branch of unripe bananas with one large flower hanging on the tree a few days ago. I was so dying to take photos of them and soon it was found missing! Sigh... =(
Cautions to all gentlemen!
Do not simply pick any flowers from anywhere, no matter how beautiful they may appear because you could never tell which are the poisonous ones. Stay faithful always and you would be safe (if you could infer what I am trying to say). :p

Had another game of pool with Angela, Jian Cong and Jian Chao yesterday night at Chevron Country Club.
It was pretty a good game, however it was a rotten luck for me. Sigh. I probably need to refer back to my O level Physics and Mathematics textbooks to play the game well. Alright, that was really lame.

Look at his style...

I was about to knock off from my office yesterday at 6.30pm. Abruptly, my butt started to shake, my body began to fidget by itself and my head began to spin as if someone or something was controlling me to do a dunk dunk dance movement. The ground, the desks and the chairs were also shaking slowly. Trust me, that feeling was scary if you were to be in the office.
Initially, I thought something bad had happened to my body. Furthermore, I could hardly focus on my computer screen properly. Soon, a colleague of mine alerted everyone in the office that there was an earthquake taking place at one of the islands in Indonesia that resulted the entire place to shake slightly. At that point of time, I was then came to notice that it was an effect caused by a quake. Imagine the size of the magnitude that could also affect Singapore island to such an extent.
As soon as the impact of the quake reduced, everything returned to normal. My supervisor asked me whether if I was feeling alright. That was truly a relief!
What an unusual experience to feel an earthquake here in Singapore for the first time in my entire life. I think lottery is going to strike soon. =X
Finally, Happy National Day to my friends of China and Happy Children's Day to all the cute and adorable children on this wonderful earth. I urge you kids to cherish your childhood period. Being an adult may not be as easy as you thought. :)
I shall pray that the children of Indonesia who were affected by the quake to stay unscathed. Today is Children's Day and I do not think they deserve to put themselves into such tragedy.
I missed being a pampered child.
